Beach Music In Belmont, North Carolina

As the song says "I love Beach Music. I always have, and I always will. There ain't no other music, in the whole wide world, that give me quite the thrill." My hometown, Belmont, North Carolina, has an every other Friday night street concert, featuring beach music. This year's series opens with General Johnson and the Chairmen of the Board on May 21, 2010. Since I only go home every 7 years or so (like locust), this is the year to visit and what another great reason to head South, then to also see the Chairmen.
