Before that, I dropped into "City Dogs in the Slip" to have a Star Pale Ale while catching a bit of the Redskins vs Jets game (which the Redskins won).
In the early '80s, this spot was known as the Dog House and it was crazy popular among the college set. It's a small place, so it would get crowded quickly. They played beach music and Motown which lead to people trying to dance the Shag on the tables.
