Volvo 4 Life

I was at Don Beyer Volvo, Falls Church, today to have one of the day-time running lights on my XC90 replaced, and while waiting I decided to walk around the sales lot to look at the 2011 models. To say I am a Volvo man (4 Life) would be an understatement. My first was a 145 wagon, followed by a couple 245s, then a couple XC70s and now a 2005 XC90.

Though I plan to keep my existing car for at least 10 years (fingers crossed), I love looking at the newer models. Every year, Volvo adds a new model, option or feature. This year it is City Safety, a feature that will stop the car should you become distracted and not notice that the vehicle in front of you has stopped or slowed. This is a standard feature on the XC60, cross-over SUV models.

The XC60s are nice, but I am drawn to the XC90. Below are a few pictures that I took using my iPhone:
